Glock 19 Gen 1-3 Slide Upgrade Options — Complete and Stripped
Desert Cat slides for the Glock 19 Gen 1-3 are available in both complete slide assemblies and stripped slides. Complete slides ship fully assembled — all internal parts, barrel, recoil spring assembly, polymer sights, and RMR cover plate come installed. Drop it onto your Gen 1-3 frame and run. Stripped slides give you the platform — you source the barrel, internals, and optic and build exactly what you want. Both configurations feature an RMR optic cut milled directly into the slide, compatible with Trijicon RMR/SRO/RCR, Holosun 407C/507C/508T, and Swampfox Liberty II — no adapter plates required.
Choosing Between a Complete Slide or Stripped G19 Slide
If you want a fast, clean upgrade with no parts hunting — go complete. Remove the OEM slide, drop on the Desert Cat, function-check, and carry. If you're an experienced builder who wants full control over every component — go stripped. Pair it with a Desert Cat barrel, your choice of internals, and the optic you want. Either way you get the same Desert Cat slide body, same USA-made quality, and the same RMR optic cut.
Glock 19 Gen 1-3 Barrel Upgrades
Our G19 Gen 1-3 stainless steel barrels are CNC-machined in 9mm with a flush cut for a clean, low-profile fit in both OEM and Desert Cat slides. The same barrel that ships installed in our complete slides is available here separately.
Glock 19 Gen 1-3 Parts Kits
Desert Cat offers G19 Gen 1-3 parts kits in multiple configurations. The complete slide parts kit includes every internal component needed to populate a stripped slide — billet firing pin, firing pin spring, spring cups, spacer, channel liner, extractor plunger, plunger spring, safety plunger, and safety plunger spring. The SCT lower parts kit covers the trigger group for Gen 1-3 frame builds. Spring replacement kits are available separately for maintenance and high-volume use. Individual components are also available if you're replacing a specific part.
Optics & Accessories for the Glock 19 Gen 1-3
Every Desert Cat G19 Gen 1-3 slide uses the RMR optic footprint — factory-milled directly into the slide at the correct depth. Compatible optics: Trijicon RMR (Type 1 and Type 2), Trijicon SRO, Trijicon RCR, Holosun 407C, Holosun 507C / 507C X2, Holosun 508T / 508T X2, and Swampfox Liberty II. No adapter plate required. Note: the RMR footprint on G19 Gen 1-3 slides is a full-size optic cut — it is not the same as the RMSC/407K footprint used on G43/43X slides. Frame Compatibility — Gen 1-3 Only
All Desert Cat G19 slides are machined to Glock 19 Gen 1-3 frame specifications. The Glock 19 Gen 4 and Gen 5 use a different internal frame rail geometry — Desert Cat G19 slides are not compatible with Gen 4 or Gen 5 frames. These slides fit standard OEM Glock 19 Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 frames, as well as aftermarket frames built to the same Gen 1-3 specification. If you're unsure of your frame generation, contact us before ordering.

What Glock 19 generations are compatible with Desert Cat slides?
Desert Cat G19 slides are compatible with Glock 19 Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 frames only. The Glock 19 Gen 4 and Gen 5 use a different internal frame rail geometry and are not compatible with Gen 1-3 slides. These slides also fit aftermarket frames built to OEM Gen 1-3 specifications.
What optic footprint does the Glock 19 Gen 1-3 use?
Desert Cat G19 Gen 1-3 slides use the RMR optic footprint. Compatible optics: Trijicon RMR (Type 1 and Type 2), Trijicon SRO, Trijicon RCR, Holosun 407C/507C/507C X2/508T/508T X2, and Swampfox Liberty II. No adapter plate required. This is a different footprint than the RMSC/407K cut used on G43/43X slides — G43/43X optics such as the Holosun 407K are not compatible with G19 slides.

Yes. All Desert Cat G19 Gen 1-3 slides are machined to standard Glock 19 Gen 1-3 internal dimensions. They accept OEM Glock 19 Gen 1-3 barrels, recoil spring assemblies, and trigger mechanisms. Complete slides ship fully assembled and ready to drop onto your OEM frame.
Are Desert Cat G19 slides made in the USA?
Yes. Every Desert Cat slide is CNC-machined in Arizona from stainless steel billet. Cerakote finish is applied in-house.
