What is the barrel spec for Desert Cat G19 barrels?

Desert Cat G19 Gen 1-3 barrels are 9mm, stainless steel, 3.91" flush cut. The flush cut keeps the barrel profile below the slide for a clean look and eliminates thread protrusion. Same barrel that ships in our complete slide assemblies.

Will this barrel fit my OEM G19 slide?

Yes. Desert Cat G19 Gen 1-3 barrels are machined to standard Glock 19 Gen 1-3 barrel dimensions and drop directly into OEM Glock 19 Gen 1-3 slides. They are also the same barrel used in Desert Cat G19 complete slides. Check headspace with factory ammunition before live fire, as is standard practice when installing any aftermarket barrel.

Are these barrels compatible with Gen 4 or Gen 5 G19 slides?

These barrels are sized and recommended for Gen 1-3 slides and frames. The barrel chamber and lug dimensions differ between Gen 1-3 and Gen 4/5 platforms. If you are running a Gen 4 or Gen 5 frame, contact us to confirm compatibility before ordering.

Can I run suppressor-height sights or a compensator with this barrel?

The flush-cut barrel does not have threading for a compensator or muzzle device. If you want to run a suppressor or compensator, you will need a threaded aftermarket barrel. Desert Cat will offer threaded barrel options as the product line expands. The flush-cut profile is compatible with standard sights and suppressor-height sights mounted on the slide.
